Lifting weights stunts your growth

I really dont think lifting stunts your growth.

If you do improper form, really heavy weights, then yeah. Im pretty sure your not gonna grow.

If you do proper form, doing weight you can handle, and building up to higher weights you will still grow.

Fitness friday

Fitness friday was pretty extreme.
Jogging to the hill, was no big deal. After running on the hill a couple of times. I realized how important it is to pace yourself. A good way to tell if someone is actually trying is by looking who they are running with and to see if they're pacing themselves accordingly to there fitness levels.

My personal Profile

*I registered for this course because…
Pe is mandatory for all grade 10's. Its a good way to get some exercise

* My favorite part of PE is… getting additional exercise rather then just outside of school acitvitys.

*I think my current current level of fitness is… okay, I think I need more conditioning.

*My previous personal best beep test is... 10.5

*I am currently doing the following things to be active (outside of PE)… playing hockey, crossfit and going for runs with my dog.

*Things that PHYSICALLY prevent me from doing exercise (i.e. medical, injury) my shoulder sometimes prevents me to do any exercise because it starts to hurt randomly. But its getting alot better so probably nothing.

*Things that MENTALLY prevent me from doing exercise (i.e. energy, time)
Homework and studying.
I get to caught up in that stuff and that restricts me mentally.

*My eating habits are… good. I eat alot better then I used too. I eat alot of carbs and meat.

*I Want to be able to learn more about…
The muscle groups in our bodys and if you get Injured how to deal with it properly. How to stretch properly

*I want to improve my abilities in… (ex. fitness, communication, positive impact)
Flexibility, and more commucation with the rest of the class.

*Outside school activities I’d like to try are... swimming.

*My fitness goals for the semester are… getting higher then 13 in the beep test
Bench a plate.

*My personal character goals are... be more fit, eat healthier, learn how to stretch better.
